Snow White runs 79 performances at the Gordon Craig from Friday 27 November. Tickets from £20 plus a £3.50 fee, and here is every date the venue hides.

Stevenage’s pantomime for 2026 is Snow White at the Gordon Craig Theatre, opening on Friday 27 November 2026 and closing on Sunday 24 January 2027. That is 79 performances across nine weeks, which makes it one of the longest panto runs of any theatre this size in the country.

Tickets are from £20, and the theatre adds a £3.50 transaction fee per booking, not per ticket. (Gordon Craig Theatre, Snow White)

Updated 6 October 2026: three performances already show no seats left to book, and most December weekend shows are down to the last few rows. Seat counts for every performance below.

Gordon Craig panto 2026: what is already selling out

We read the seat count for all 79 performances of Snow White from the theatre’s own box office system on 6 October 2026, seven weeks before opening. The auditorium holds 507. Across the run, 22,289 of the 40,053 seats were no longer available to book, so a little over half the panto has gone already.

No seats left online:

  • Sunday 6 December, 1pm
  • Thursday 24 December, 11am
  • Thursday 24 December, 3pm

Fewer than 20 seats left:

Where the seats still are. January is wide open: on 6 October every weekday performance from Wednesday 13 to Friday 22 January had between 395 and 480 seats free, except Friday 22 January at 7.45pm (222), and the last weekend, 23 and 24 January, had 281 to 440. If it has to be December, the best-stocked performances were Wednesday 9 December at 4.30pm (351 left), Monday 28 December at 7.30pm (343), Wednesday 30 December at 6pm (407) and New Year’s Eve at 11am (365). The relaxed and BSL signed performance on Wednesday 16 December had 422 seats left.

A seat count is a snapshot, and some unavailable seats may be held back by the theatre rather than sold, so a show at zero online can still be worth a call to the box office on 01438 363200.

The cast the theatre has named

From the theatre’s own listing:

  • Aidan O’Neill as Herbie the Huntsman, described as a “Stevenage favourite” returning
  • Mark Siney as Dame Dolly
  • Carli Norris as Narcissia, the wicked queen

The theatre credits the production to “the team behind last year’s award-nominated Dick Whittington and his Cat”. No further casting has been announced.

Every date and time

The Gordon Craig’s own page will not show you this. It loads the schedule with JavaScript and prints “Loading show times” to anyone whose browser does not run it, which includes most search results and every screen reader that gives up early. We pulled the full run from the box office system on 5 September 2026. Every performance below was on sale at that point.

There is no performance on Christmas Day or on New Year’s Day. There is also nothing on Mondays or Tuesdays until the week before Christmas, and nothing on Fridays until 8 January, so the “quiet” weekday slots people hunt for do not exist in December.

The two access performances

The theatre lists both, and the schedule backs them up. Each is the only performance on its day, which is the useful part: you are not choosing between a signed show and a full house on the same afternoon.

  • Wednesday 16 December, 6pm: relaxed and BSL signed
  • Tuesday 29 December, 2pm: BSL signed

The theatre says the BSL interpreter stands downstage left, which is the right-hand side of the stage as you look at it from the audience, so seats on that side give the clearest view of the signing.

Booking, and the fee to watch for

  • From £20. The theatre publishes a “from” price only, and does not publish its price bands online
  • £3.50 transaction fee per booking. It is charged once per order, not per seat, so one order for six is cheaper than six orders for one
  • Book through the venue at everyonetheatres.com

A note on the name if you are searching. The Gordon Craig is run by Everyone Theatres, part of Everyone Active, not by Stevenage Leisure Ltd as it once was, and the old gordon-craig.co.uk address now redirects to everyonetheatres.com. Anything still telling you to book at the old domain is out of date.

Getting there

The Gordon Craig sits in the town centre on Lytton Way, next to the bus interchange and about five minutes’ walk from Stevenage station. Evening performances finishing at 9.30pm or later mean the town centre car parks: rates, locations and the new pay-by-plate system are on our parking in Stevenage page. If you are driving in from out of town between now and roughly March, check the A1(M) 40mph scheme between junctions 7 and 8 first.
